Como su nombre lo indica, la casa patios es una sumatoria de vacíos que interconectan recintos con una modulación estandarizada bajo una envolvente pétrea, que cuenta con 540m2 interiores y 200m2 de terrazas y patios, todo contenido en una parcela de 9.000 m2.
El grupo familiar consta de cinco integrantes muy disímiles entre sí, que buscan espacios independientes, pero a su vez manteniendo lugares de encuentro en la vivienda, acentuados por espacios en dobles alturas tanto en el área pública como en el área privada de la casa.
Cada recinto de la vivienda es acompañado con un patio de luz, manteniendo este esquema aún al interior de cada baño, permitiendo contar con regaderas o duchas exteriores al aire libre, pero protegida de las vistas.
La vivienda se percibe hermética desde el exterior, acusando una gran fachada ciega hacia el sur, acompañada con bloques de hormigón perpendiculares como textura hacia la calle, solo interrumpida por el acceso a la vivienda y garaje.
Por otra parte, la fachada norte es completamente abierta a las vistas y como medio de protección solar se proyecta un gran muro de bloques de hormigón perforado, a modo de celosía que tiene la característica de ser móvil, pudiendo abrir y cerrar a voluntad.
Como homologación a las casas patronales de la zona, se proyecta un gran corredor que unifica los extremos oriente y poniente de la casa, entre la pantalla de bloques perforados y las ventanas al norte.
Una característica es que sus propietarios son amantes del buen vino, contando con una pequeña viña que gustarán contemplar subiendo al techo terraza, proyectado entre las grandes lucarnas que sobresalen sobre la barra horizontal.

Patio House
As its name indicates, the patio house is a summation of voids that interconnect rooms with a standardized modulation under a stone envelope, which has 540m2 interiors and 200m2 of terraces and patios, all contained in a 9,000 m2 plot.
The family group consists of five members who are very dissimilar to each other, who look for independent spaces, but at the same time maintaining meeting places in the house, accentuated by double-height spaces both in the public area and in the private area of the house.
Each part of the house is accompanied by a patio of light, maintaining this scheme even inside each bathroom, allowing to have outdoor showers or outdoor showers, but protected from the views.
The house is perceived as airtight from the outside, showing a large blind facade to the south, only accompanied by perpendicular concrete blocks as a texture towards the street, only interrupted by the access to the house and garage.
On the other hand, the north facade is completely open to the views and as a means of solar protection a large wall of perforated concrete blocks is projected, as a lattice that has the characteristic of being mobile, being able to open and close at will.
As homologation to the supervisory houses in the area, a large corridor is projected that unifies the east and west ends of the house, between the perforated block screen and the windows to the north.
One characteristic is that its owners are lovers of good wine, counting on a small vineyard that they will like to contemplate going up to the terrace roof, projected between the large skylights that stand out on the horizontal bar.
